Delia Schreurs (DS)

Founder, Owner, and CEO of DS Jewelry Culture

Delia earned her degrees of Graduate Gemologist and Jewelry designer from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in 1983 and Jewelry Manufacturing Arts in 1988. She gained experience during a prolonged stay in Australia creating jewelry and cutting opals. She gradually expanded her knowledge of ancient manufacturing techniques like granulation (Etruscan) and wire knitting (Viking) from 1997 to 2000.

Her long standing experience in the field and resulting connections in the gem trade will guarantee you the best in the choice of gems, price, and service.

Stefan Mattiat

CEO, Marketing & Administration, Media Representation

Stefan is the active managing director. He has worked in the jewelry business since 2000. He runs the administration, communication, and human resources.

Our Workshop

DS Schmuckkultur was established in 2000 in the historic Old Town of Bern, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

It consists of a gallery and shop area with comfortable, discreet seating. It has many showcases displaying unique pieces of jewelry. There is an open, walk-in workshop located in the back of the shop.
